How to Book Your Psychology Appointment:

To book an appointment, we need some important paperwork based on how you plan to pay:

​

If You're Using Medicare:

  1. A mental health care plan (MHCP).

  2. A referral from your general practitioner (GP) that includes our psychologist's details.

  3. A referral form.

Please Note: We can only book your appointment once we have all the required documents.

Make sure your GP includes the following details about our psychologist on the referral:

  • Name of Psychologist from Beyond Barriers Care

  • Company: Beyond Barriers Care

  • Address: 23 Princes Highway, Werribee, VIC 3030

  • Phone: 1300 190 023

Additionally, your GP's referral needs to include:

  • Your name

  • Your date of birth

  • Your address

  • Your diagnosis

  • A request for services under the Better Access scheme (e.g., "Please see [Your Name] under the Better Access Scheme")

  • The number of sessions needed (usually 6, with the possibility of more if needed after another referral)

  • Your GP's Medicare Provider Number

  • Your GP's signature
